For a little while, fitness seemed to be all about crazy tyre flips, intense interval training and lots of sweat. We really shouldn’t have been surprised that so many fitness fans were so fatigued! Today, fitness is a more holistic term. It is still about stamina and strength, but also flexibility, core strength, balance and that wellness glow. Goodbye, repetitive strain injuries!
And maybe that’s why yoga is increasingly becoming the exercise methodology of choice for so many Britons. Because it delivers all these benefits to the practitioner.
